Leinster laid down a serious marker in the Champions Cup last night – demolishing Wasps 52-3 at the RDS Arena in Dublin.
Last year’s winners made it very clear that they are still very much the team to beat this season, scoring eight tries on the way to an absolute rout of Dai Young’s side.
Tries from Sean Cronin, James Lowe (2), Luke McGrath (2), Robbie Henshaw, Jordan Larmour and Jack McGrath saw Leinster put on a near perfect masterclass, with a number of players impressing.
Among those was the ever-brilliant Tadgh Furlong who was absolutely immense on the night. His footwork and offload for Luke McGrath’s second try had the stadium on its feet. What a talent. Check it out below.
“I mean seriously! Is that guy a tighthead prop?”
