Let’s hope it’s not too serious.
Wasps got their Champions Cup campaign back on track this evening with a bonus-point win over Harlequins, but the result is the last thing on anyone’s mind after Francis Saili picked up a serious injury in the closing minutes.
The former Blues and Munster centre had only just returned from a shoulder injury and even managed to get on the score sheet with a try just seconds after coming on. The incident occurred when Saili attempted a tackle on Joe Launchbury and got his head in the wrong position.
The game was stopped for over 12 minutes as he received attention. Saili was given oxygen and stretchered of, but it from what we gather, moved his hand. Really hope it’s nothing too serious and just all precaution.
