CJ Stander has just been handed the first red card of his professional career.
The South African born backrow charged down a kick from counterpart Patrick Lambie which resulted in him colliding with his head, knocking him out cold as a result.
The referee then went to the TMO and shockingly handed Stander a RED CARD for the incident. Let’s hope Lambie is ok after being stretchered off the pitch, but an absolute shocking decision from the referee as it was clearly unintentional.
Ireland now have it all to do if they are to record a famous win in South Africa after a fantastic start that saw Jared Payne score an early try. COYBIG!
