Ugly Scenes As England Rugby Team Brawl In Front Of Schoolchildren At Training Session

Brawl for all.

Defeat to Wales on Saturday doesn’t seem to have gone down too well for England, with the players getting caught up in two mass brawls while training with Georgia on Wednesday according to Chris Foy in the Daily Mail.

To make matters worse the two incidents occurred in front of a number of schoolchildren who were in attendance. They were reportedly were told to refrain from capturing any images or footage by security, as punches were thrown in what have been described as “ugly images.”

Georgia were invited to train with England this week by head coach Eddie Jones, as they have done in the past. But things went sour very quickly, with punches thrown after the first scrum between the two sides. Will Carling, who is working as a part-time leadership consultant, was apparently heavily involved as coaches on both sides intervened.

The players shake hands before the session.

Another fight then broke out after the second scrum, with the report stating this brawl was much worse than the first, with several more players getting involved, with some “running across the pitch to join in and leaping over teammates to swing punches.”

Saracens number eight Vunipola was apparently at the heart of the confrontation before order was eventually restored. The session between the two teams was brought to an end shortly afterwards.
