Toulon Star Announces His Retirement At Just 33

Former Wallabies wing Drew Mitchell has announced that he will retire at the end of the season.

Mitchell announced his retirement through Twitter on Monday. The 33-year-old began his career at the Queensland Reds in 2004, before he made the move to the Western Force and later the Waratahs.

He later made the move to French giants Toulon, where he has claimed back-to-back Champions Cups in 2014 and 2015 along with the Top 14 title in 2014.

Mitchell made 71 appearances for the Wallabies after he made his debut in 2005 and played in three Rugby World Cups, scoring 34 tries.
