Update.
The Munster squad returned to training at the High Performance Centre in UL today ahead of Saturday’s return Champions Cup clash against French champions Castres Olympique at Stade Pierre-Fabre.
Chris Farrell, who withdrew from the starting line-up on Saturday before the game, will miss out again this weekend as he recovers from a quadriceps muscle strain.
Chris Cloete was withdrawn for a HIA which was passed as were subsequent follow-up tests. Joey Carbery has been managed for hamstring tightness and will continue management with the medical department, but it looks like he’ll be good to go come Saturday.
Stephen Archer will resume team training today and Tommy O’Donnell, Stephen Fitzgerald, Jean Kleyn and Liam O’Connor will begin reintegration to team training.
The following are progressing with rehabilitation: James Cronin (leg), Rhys Marshall (hamstring), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), Dave O’Callaghan (foot), James Hart (knee), Dan Goggin (knee), Darren Sweetnam (back).
