European rugby is back.

Leinster will sweat on the fitness of captain Isa Nacewa and Lions star Sean O’Brien this week, ahead of their Champions Cup opener with French giants Montpellier.

Under new head coach Vern Cotter their opponents have started the Top 14 season well, having recruited well during the summer by bringing in the likes of Aaron Cruden, Louis Picamoles and Ruan Pienaar.

Leo Cullen’s men will head into the tie full of confidence after their win over Munster, and have no other fresh injury concerns outside of the two mentioned above.

Rob Kearney, Dan Leavy, Jamie Heaslip and Garry Ringrose remain the long-term list. But other than that, Leinster look to have strong squad heading into the Champions Cup opener.
