Joe Schmidt Set To Make A Number Of Changes For Scotland Game

Grand Slam in sight.

Head coach Joe Schmidt is set to make three changes to his Ireland team that beat Wales a fortnight ago, as they get set to welcome Scotland to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this weekend.

Chris Farrell has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament, with Leinster prodigy Garry Ringrose set to slot straight back into the starting line-up after a prolonged absence.

It will be Ireland’s third different centre partnership in as many games, but the rest of the backline is once again set to remain unchanged.

In the forwards fit again Iain Henderson and Tadhg Furlong are expected to start, with Devin Toner and Andrew Porter dropping to the bench respectively.

Jordan Larmour is in line to be named on the bench in place of Fergus McFadden, while Jordi Murphy looks to have overtaken Jack Conan in the pecking order after impressing in training.
