Head coach Eddie Jones has called up 35 players to prepare for England’s Quilter Cup match against the Barbarians on Sunday at Twickenham Stadium.

The group includes 14 uncapped players, among other experienced members, with Mike Brown, Jonny May, George Ford, Ben Youngs, Joe Launchbury and Joe Marler all named. The fixture forms crucial preparation ahead of the three-match Test series against South Africa in June.

Interestingly Danny Cipriani, who has been called up by Eddie Jones for the first time, has been named as a fullback instead of his favoured position of outhalf.

The Barbarians named their squad last week with Bundee Aki set to captain a squad that contains the likes of Chris Ashton, Ultan Dillane, Charles Piutau, John Afoa and Victor Vito.
