England international number eight Nathan Hughes is on the verge of leaving Wasps after being offered a massive £500,000-a-season deal by Premiership rivals Bristol.

Sportsmail are reporting that Hughes is expected to accept the deal and will become the latest star to leave Wasps, following Christian Wade’s decision to walk away from the club yesterday.

Hughes is said to be earning around half that sum currently with Wasps, making the offer from Bristol too good to refuse for the 27-year-old.
