Bordeaux-Bègles have announced the signing of Australia international second-row Luke Jones on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old will link up with the ambitious Top 14 side after the 2016 Super Rugby season. Jones has won three caps for the Wallabies since making his Test debut against France in June 2014.
A key figure for the Rebels in 2015, Jones was one of the top five line-out operators in Super Rugby last season, with 61 catches, and one of the top ten ball carriers with 166. Bordeaux have already signed Ireland fly-half Ian Madigan for next season, along with prop Vadim Cobilas and scrum-half Julien Audy.
