Baa Baas.
Fresh from masterminding a famous win over the All Blacks this past weekend, Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus has just been named as the man to take charge of the Barbarians for their upcoming clash with Argentina in Twickenham.
The former Munster boss brings a wealth of experience with him to the role, and succeeds Pat Lam who steered the Baa Baas to a famous win over England back in May.
Four leading South Africa and Australia Test players have already accepted invitations to appear for the Barbarians for their December 1 clash.
Springboks’ playmaker Handre Pollard, lock Eben Etzebeth and prop Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira will join the Baa-baas in London for the Killik Cup match after South Africa’s autumn internationals against England, France, Scotland and Wales. They will be joined by Melbourne Rebels and Australia scrumhalf Will Genia.
