This is brilliant.
Ireland for the second time this season brought an 18 game winning streak to an end with their huge win over England at the Aviva.
New Zealand and Ireland met back in November in Chicago, with the All Blacks also on an 18 game winning streak, only to be stopped by Joe Schmidt’s men in a historic affair. Following Ireland’s win, the All Blacks Twitter account decided to congratulate England on winning the Six Nations, and Ireland on stopping their undefeated streak.
England Tweeted back, thanking the All Blacks and stating Ireland must have a knack for stopping record runs. Ireland then brilliantly Tweeted back saying they’ll start their winning run now and the other two can have a crack at them then.
Excellent banter!
